Obscure UK Old Skool Hardcore – The Final List

Hetzer on discogs suggested, “Computing a *relative* Score = Wanted By/Owned By, i.e. the higher this score is the more obscure is the release.” might throw up a nice list of obscure tunes … and he’s not wrong! So that’s the final list of ‘wanted’ tunes I’m going to run off. I’ll try and think of a few more useful things to do with this data. All suggestions gratefully received.

A couple of months ago in amongst a bundle of mixed old skool, I picked up a copy of #1 by Format on ESP Records from 1991. I looked it up on discogs and 99 members wanted that tune. Which got me thinking … what is the most wanted slice of dance vinyl (according to discogs)? Once upon a time they used to publish this information, but not any more … so it’s time to start digging about ….
