Crazy - Tech House (East End Dubs)
I picked up the East End Dubs sample pack from Sample Market and made this. It's basically my version of the first track off of Tools Vol. 1 using mostly samples from their pack. It's alright, it sounded comparable to the download I was referencing, but then compared to the version on Soundcloud, it's a […]
The Ghetto - Tech House
Another tech house tune this week, and another drawing inspiration from the Solid Grooves Raw label. This one using a huge sample from the Marlena Shaw track, "Woman of the ghetto" which was famously sampled by Blue Boy for their classic, "Remember Me".
That, That [Free Download] - Tech House
I finished this track today - a nice little tech house roller in the Solid Grooves style (well, that was the aim). It's bugging me though where this sample originally comes from. It's labelled in my sample pack as SOBV1_VOX_beat_box_124bpm and I know it was used in a few old skool hardcore tunes too. Comment […]
Elevate - Tech House
Credit where it's due, I pulled some of the ideas here for this tune from the Elevate Musik youtube channel. More drums and loops here from the East End Dubs sample pack, plus a dusty old T La Rock vocal snippet and a short vintage break fill from Banbarra.
11 Hills, 215 Metres and a Tiny Garmin Torch
Beachy Head Half Marathon 2026 Training Block - Week 7/11 I wasn't entirely sure how today's hill session was going to go. After the increased mileage over the weekend, especially with the extra effort needed for the OUTRUNCANCER Angmering 10K on Sunday, my legs were still carrying a bit of fatigue. Hill repeats probably weren't […]
A Perfect Morning for an Easy Run
Beachy Head Half Marathon 2026 Training Block - Week 7/11 After a big weekend of mileage, today's run was deliberately about trying to keep things eas and well in zone 2. There was a little bit of guilt in play here as the 10k on Saturday and the 17k on Sunday were more tempo and […]
How To Make Music Like – Michael Bibi (Part 6 – Dennis 97)
Tech House tutorial Ableton Live | Estilo Michael Bibi 😎 | Libreria +Template | 2021 This was the last tutorial I looked at (back in 2023) and I never actually got around to finishing the follow along. If I remember correctly, I got a bit bogged down in the detail and lost track of what […]
EFC Thessaloniki
One of the smaller competitions on the calendar, but one I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking to get some more International experience.
EFC Belgrade - Belgrade Open
In 2021 the Belgrade Fair hosted the event - a large complex of event halls next to the Sava river on the outskirts of the city.
EFC Luxembourg
Back in 2017 this event was a dry run for Luxembourg to host a FIE Junior World Cup.
