How To Make Music Like – Michael Bibi (Part 6 – Dennis 97)

This was the last tutorial I looked at (back in 2023) and I never actually got around to finishing the follow along. If I remember correctly, I got a bit bogged down in the detail and lost track of what it was I was trying to achieve. Anyway, I reloaded the project file, exported the unfinished track and made this post.

The tutorial itself is pretty indepth and does come with a template download - however it is in Spanish, so it was little harder to follow along. I can't say much more about it as it's been so long since I did this.

This was the mess of a template as I left it. Incomplete and with some strange ideas, some muted and others not. Only the first 48 bars are somewhat complete, so I exported those after slapping a limiter on the master and adding some compression.

And this is the end result - the idea behind the lead is a complete mystery to me now. I can't even recall if that was intentional at the time or was just a placeholder.

As this is an unsatisfactory end to this little sequence of projects, so I'm going to make one more, and this time see it through to it's conclusion. I searched youtube for some more recent tutorials, and POV: making a track like MICHAEL BIBI in 1 HOUR (+ Samples) [ABLETON] came up near the top of the results, so that's what I'm going to do!
